Born and raised in Yuma, it was always my dream to become a veterinarian and take care of the neighborhood animals. After graduating high school as a proud Criminal, I attended and received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. Deciding to stay with the feline mascot, I accepted an offer to attend Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. (Go Cougs!) When I graduated from WSU as Danielle Muñoz, DVM, I moved back to Yuma to start my career. I have been fortunate to cultivate my love for medicine, animals and Yuma the last few years. Now I am ready for the next chapter! Picacho Animal Care has been designed with a focus of providing preventative services for the community. I am excited for the future and can’t wait to meet more local animals and their owners!
